Payment Policy

We accept online payments in all currencies and our system is fast, easy and secure. After the final agreement with Package holidays to Egypt, you can make an online payment to us via credit card (Visa™ or MasterCard™ card are accepted) or bank transfer.

Down Payment / Booking policy

We offer a low-down payment of only 20% to secure your space on the tour, including the hotel room, the cruise ship cabin, the domestic flight ticket and other travel-related services. The rest of the money can be paid up to two days before the arrival date or in cash at the arrival to your travel manager, so your reservation will be a risk-free investment.

Pay in batches before you arrive

Package holidays to Egypt offers a new payment plan that allows you to pay for your trips, Nile cruise or other travel packages by pay in batches before you arrive.

You will pay an agreed-upon amount each month, it is determined during the reservation process for your trip to Egypt and the cost of your Egypt package tour and according to the period of time before your arrival. The balance will be paid upon arrival at your destination in cash or by credit/debit card or you can pay the total cost in monthly installments prior to arrival at your destination.

Children’s policy, room sharing with a child and parents

For packages, Nile cruises, and hotels

• Children under 2 years: free
• Children under 6 years old: 25% of the total cost of the tour for an adult
• Children under 12 years old: 50% of the total cost of the tour for an adult
• All children 12 years or older are considered adults.

If your tour package includes flights or sleeping train an additional supplement may be applied for your child.

Cancellation policy (excluding peak period)

Cancellation requests should be sent by email to provide the company with written confirmation that your reservation must be canceled.

In the event that you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will apply:

• Cancellations up to 61 days prior to arrival: 15% of the total amount.
• Cancellations between 60 and 31 days prior to the arrival date: 30% of the total amount
• Cancellations between 30 and 15 days prior to the arrival date: 50% of the total amount.
• Cancellations between 14 or less prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total amount

In addition, airlines charge fees for domestic flights which are subject to their terms and conditions at the time of booking.

Cancellation for emergency conditions or Force majeure

In the event that there are events that prevent your arrival in Egypt, such as issuing warnings to travel to/from the country of departure, or vice versa to Egypt. In this case, we will refund the amount paid to book your trip or deposit it as a travel credit for future business. Reservations will be adjusted according to your planned dates for your holiday to Egypt, and fees for change or cancellation will be applied to domestic flights in accordance with the airline’s terms and conditions.

Cancellation for Christmas, New Year’s and Easter holidays:

In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will apply:

• Cancellations up to 61 days prior to arrival: 25% of the total amount.
• Cancellations between 60 and 31 days prior to the arrival date: 50% of the total amount
• Cancellations between 30 and 15 days prior to the arrival date: 75% of the total amount.
• Cancellations between 14 or less prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total amount

In addition, airlines charge fees for domestic flights which are subject to their terms and conditions at the time of booking.

Kindly note the cancellation policy during the Corona pandemic as follows:

Due to the current circumstances after the COVID-19 Pandemic, We have decided to make it much easier for our dear guests who are going to book their tours with us. with more flexible terms of cancellation and postponement of their tours. After receiving a deposit from your side for booking a tour, the deposit received is fully transferable to any of our tour packages. You will also be able to amend the date of the tour or your tour plan even until 20 days prior to your arrival date but you need to notify us in advance in order not to do any booking procedures until you confirm the exact date of your arrival & departure. If you want to cancel your tour with us after sending us the deposit, our flexible cancellation policy will be as follows:

* From the date of your booking up to 21 days prior to the date of your arrival, we will refund you the total deposit we have received from your side. we will minus the fees for canceling Flight, train and bus tickets.

* From 20: 10 days prior to the date of your arrival, you will be charged only 25% of the total cost of your tour.

* From 10 days up to the date of your arrival, you will be charged 50% of the total cost of your tour.

Refund

Normally you will be reimbursed on the same account in the same way as your first payment. No refunds will be accepted for non-participation in an existing reserve.

Refunds will only be made via the original payment method.

Responsibility

The company acts only as an agent for participants with respect to travel, whether by rail, ship, air or any other means of transportation and assumes no responsibility for injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, of any person or property that is directly or indirectly affected by any of the following causes: weather, natural disasters, force majeure, acts of government or other authorities, war, civil disturbance, labor disputes, riots, theft, mechanical failure, quarantines or acts of default, delays, cancellations or changes made by any hotel, carrier or restaurant. No liability is accepted for any additional expenses.

Accommodation

Regarding accommodation, all prices are based on accommodation in double rooms. Single rooms are available but at an additional fee. The names of the accommodation hotels are presented, provided that the client has the freedom to choose according to your preferences, and the hotel reservation is not confirmed, once you confirm your tour reservation and receive the down payment.

Flights

• Domestic flights:

We quote the average price for flights with approximate schedules. Requests for specific flight schedules or changes to previously booked reservations may result in changes to the total package price.

Tips

Tipping is common to express one’s satisfaction with the good services rendered by the service staff. We advise you to tip as you wish. This will be greatly appreciated by the staff, but you are not obliged to do so.

DAMAGE OR LOSS TO BAGGAGE

In the case of damage or loss to luggage in internal transport at each destination by air, land or sea, the customer must submit a written complaint to the carrier immediately after the damage is discovered.

Important notes:

• Changes of departure date, changes of passenger names and cancellation of passengers are considered a cancellation of reservations and are subject to the corresponding charges.
• In case of cancellation by the client, the travel agent must be notified in writing immediately. The trip will be canceled from the date the written notice of cancellation is received.
